IGMC Fall 2024 Registration

The Indie Game Music Contest is open worldwide to all nationalities and ages. Here are the details in a nutshell:
  • Opportunity to win more than 8,000€ worth of prizes (with more to come…)
  • You won’t be judged by criteria like mixing and mastering or the quality of the sound.
  • The Judges will look only at the creative ideas you use enhance the gaming experience
  • Any type/genre of music can be used to score the game and there are no limitations regarding the instruments or sounds you can use
  • Submit a recording of your composition, we don’t need written scores. An audio export from MuseScore for example would be more than enough.
  • Get demos of two unreleased games and a gameplay video for each on to score with adaptive music. (More about the games)
  • No video game-scoring or developing experience necessary (More about the assignment)
  • Get a brief from the developer describing what he is looking for in the score
  • Optional individual feedback by experienced professionals (Feedback Examples)
  • Start immediately after registration.
  • Get an account to submit your composition with a comment for the judges to explain your approach, see when your submission has been reviewed, view your feedback, etc.
  • You retain full ownership of your music and can share your submission(s) wherever you want as soon as you finish 
  • Get detailed statistics on how you did and how you compare to others
  • Receive a verifiable Participation/Winner Certificate with your placement in the competition
